Project title: Using Mobile Cloud Computing for Crisis and Emergency Management: Securty and Privacy Aspects
Project description: Cloud-based solutions can be (and should be) used to provide reliable bridge between organizations and/or citizens in emergency and crisis situations. However, reliability and security of collected and shared information is an issue. In this project, we focus on how the Role-Based Access Control and Attribute Based Access Control can help to enhance the security and authorization of access to cloud based information systems and resources. In this proposed project, we developed a software application mobile cloud based for crisis and emergency management with several security and privacy aspects that provide flexible and secure framework for emergency and crisis management based on mobile cloud paradigm. The objective is to lower the cost and increase flexibility, reliability and availability by providing access to applications that run in the Cloud. Additionally, use of mobile cloud contributes to efficient collection and sharing data since it increase trustworthiness of shared of information. Implementing in mobile cloud will enforce flexibility and efficiency of emergency and crises information management. This should be controlled by roles associated with users based on their verifiable attributes, in connection with the process of administration and management officials, who are allowed to have access to the cloud in emergency cases, where the authentication and authorization of system users are key aspects of the secure system. The priority in this research will be to emphasize on data security and privacy issues in mobile cloud computing to all system users and their data in server.
