Research area: Cryptography
Project title: Protection in Complex Cyber Systems
Project description: My PhD project is centred around cryptographic protocols using homomorphic encryption. Homomorphic encryption allows a user to encrypt some data, manipulate it, and then decrypt it to obtain the same result as if they had just manipulated it without the encryption and decryption steps. This property is desirable if you require a third-party to act on sensitive data, for instance, in electronic voting.
