Project title: Design, analysis and implementation of P2P energy trading platform based on fog computing and blockchain technology
Project description: The main goal of this project is to design and implement a local energy trading platform such that renewable energy producers and electric vehicles (EVs) owners can sell energy to their neighbors in a simple and efficient way. The project focuses on the detailed design of an energy trading platform that mainly targets microgrids. The trading platform will be based on blockchain technology for the purpose of enabling distributed peer-to-peer (P2P) trading scheme. Fog computing technology will be used in supporting such a trading platform thanks to its good performance on real-time IoT data processing.
