Ph.D. started in: 2018
Expected year of graduation: 2022
COINS consortium member: Norwegian University of Science and Technology
Supervised by: Kristian Gjøsteen
Links: Cristin
Research area: Cryptography
Project title: Quantum-Safe Cryptography for the Internet of Things
Project description: As integer-based cryptography are vulnerable to quantum computers, lattice based cryptography is a promising alternative. We require good cryptographic primitives to replace the ones potentially compromised ones we already have.

As for my project in particular, more and more devices are connected to a network. These devices have limited resources, so light-weight, specialized quantum-safe protocols are needed. Something like a modified Bluetooth protocols which is quantum safe.
