Project title: Post-Quantum Key Exchanges
Project description: Key exchanges are an important building block of our internet: they are often the first interaction between two parties in order to establish a secure connection. Most of the key exchange mechanisms we use today are, however, at risk of being broken by a quantum computer because the mathematical problems they are built on are easy to break using such a machine. In this project we investigate using different mathematical foundations for key exchanges, and their consequences for security and usability.
