Project title: Robust Biometric Authentication using 3D Information
Project description: Biometric Authentication (Biometrics) is the process of authenticating a person through digital means. A broadly excepted definition of biometric is ”A biometric
is a unique, measurable characteristic or trait for automatically recognizing or verifying the identity of a human being”. D texture-based methods such as LBP,
LPQ and BSF have the problem in generalizing PAD algorithms across PAI. Recently, biometric community has started using 3D-based PAD methods. Considering the fact that the advantages of 3D based Face Recognition achieve higher accuracy than their 2D counterparts, one is motivated to use them.
