Project title: Secure and Reliable Distributed Storage Systems
Project description: My work involves designing erasure correcting codes (ECCs) for distributed storage systems (DSSs). Introduction of ECCs allows DSSs to tolerate disk failures. The aim of my research is to design ECCs that perform efficient repairs of failed disk. In addition, the thus designed ECCs should also introduce information-theoretic security to DSSs.
