Project title: Using Theories from Economics and Finance to Address Information Security Risk Management
Project description: Information security practitioners and researchers have lately started looking at the information security domain from the economic perspective; since the domain of Economics and Finance has many proven theories, these theories can be looked upon as a good starting point for the research in economics of information security.
The research aims to use well-established theories and concepts from the domain of economics and finance to develop a model for optimal information security investment and residual risk management strategy.
