Research area: Cryptography
Project title: Securing emerging network technologies with homomorphic encryption
Project description: Homomorphic encryption is a recent discovery (Gentry 2009) and advance in cryptography designed to enable performing operations on encrypted data which provide predictable results in the plain data after decryption.
The research focus will be analyzing ways of using homomorphic encryption in practice for securing emerging network technologies such as Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV).
